New Cataclysm expansion, recently announced by Blizzard will bring brand new items, abilities, races and the 2 new professions.
Burning Crusade expansion introduced Jewelcrafting and Enchanting, Wrath of the Lich King brought Inscription. Cataclysm expansion will, as announced, bring Archaeology and Reforging, latest features of crafting. Click here for more on Archaeology and Reforging Guide WoW
Archaeology profession
Archaeology will be the last of the secondary professions, allowing further customizations to be performed on the characters. Players who learn Archaeology will be able to research the ruins in all of the zones and search for the antiques just like real Archaeologists would do.
Through their research of the ruins, Archaeologists will be able to gather various unique artifacts and make notes. With the use of these artifacts, Archaeologists will be able to customize their characters and with handing in these artifacts to a Titan cult they will be able to get amazing rewards such as Vanity pets, Titles, Teleportation and Items.
Depending on the path they choose, Archeologists will be able to make new discoveries which will bring new passive skills and new abilities.
How unique is Archaeology?
All already known professions in WoW are designed to be taken, skilled to a certain skill level and used in a certain purpose. Archaeology will be different. You won’t be only able to train it, hit the cap and then stop progressing with it. It will allow continuous advancing in profession, which will ensure the constant interest of players for this profession.
Reforging
Reforging is a skill which will allow players to customize their gear. Only the gear statistics will be subject to customization, unfortunately not the appearance as well. It will maybe be possible in the further expansions.
Reforging skill will be available to those having Blacksmithing, Engineering, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking and Tailoring. Those players who have one or more of these crafting professions will be able to re-customize the piece of gear originating from it. For example a Jewelcrafter will be able to take one stat from the ring. He will then be able to change it and then return it back to the piece as a completely different statistic.
What is so special about this?
Firstly, the stats that you will be able to change are not the ones that some item already has. If you for example have a necklace with stamina and intellect, you will be able to change stamina for the equivalent amount of the spell power instead.
This form of item stats manipulation will be possible on all items, not just the ones you can craft. It will be of particular help to players who do not have the required professions. Those players will be able to seek assistance from other players who have Reforging as an addition to their professions.
Cataclysm expansion will certainly bring a brand new dimension in the World of Warcraft. Being the most popular and outstanding mmorpg, WoW will surely not disappoint the players. The population of the WoW players is ever-growing despite the new MMORPGs that are constantly emerging. Undeniable quality of this game and brand new exciting releases are the main reason for this. A solid Naxxramas strategy is important if you want to roll through this raid quickly. Although this is the first WoTLK (Wrath of the Lich King) raid, and therefore easier than many other raids, you can still have problems if you don’t have a solid plan of attack.
I never came up with a coherent Naxxramas strategy on my own, but that’s ok. Instead of doing all the hard work myself, I learned the secret to beating Naxx and all the other new raids and instances. Would you like to know how I did it?
The solution to this problem is really quite simple in hindsight. I simply copied the strategy of a veteran raider who already owned Naxx.
Now let me be clear. I didn’t have to corner T Dub at some conference to get him to spill his secrets. He’s made them available to anyone in his now new PvE Bible. In it, you’ll find tons of information on every new raid and instance, including Naxx.
The Naxxramas Strategy section of the PvE Bible is 53 pages long. In those 53 pages, Sanders lays out detailed guidance for every aspect of this raid, with special attention to the 25-man raids.
One thing I particularly like about this part of the PvE Bible is that it directly addresses old Naxx advice that is no longer valid. It used to be that Resistance Gear was vital to success in here. But that’s no longer true, and in this section you’ll get current advice that matches the way the game plays now.
Warning: If you want to get all the achievements in this raid you really need to heed the advice on Resistance gear. It is not only unneeded, but choosing that kind of gear will actually prevent you from getting some of the achievements!

The Naxxramas raid is the first raid for Wrath of the Lich King (WoTLK). As such, it isn’t as difficult as the raids that follow it. But you can’t just show up and expect to succeed. You need to do some preparation. If you’re not smart about things you can be stuck on this one for a while.
But you don’t have to waste your time figuring it out anymore. There’s a secret to getting through Naxx without wasting a lot of time and effort. Would you like to know what it is?
The secret to dominating this raid is to get your hands on a top-notch Naxxramas Guide. I use T Dub Sanders brand new PvE Bible. In it, you’ll find a 53 page Naxxramas Guide!
The Naxxramas Guide gives you detailed strategy & tactics for every aspect of this raid, with special attention to the 25-man runs.
As you can guess by its size, this guide is full of detailed information. It covers everything you’ll need to know to succeed in Naxx.
The way this guide covers party characteristics is particularly useful. You will learn the specific attributes your tanks, healers, and DPS characters need for your raid to hhave a realistic chance. Those attributes differ depending on the size of the raid, and there are separate 10-man and 25-man sections so you can keep everything straight.
And the information here is current stuff. Older guides talk about the need for resistance gear in this raid. But the game has changed, and T Dub delivers the last word on this issue as it pertains to this raid.
Important: If you want to get all the achievements in this raid you really need to heed the advice on Resistance gear. It is not only unneeded, but choosing that kind of gear will actually prevent you from getting some of the achievements!
Are you ready to step up to a superb Naxxramas Guide? The PvE Bible will show you how to own this and all the other new raids and instances. Go to http://The-PveBible.com now! And while you’re there, check out the right side of the page for a free gift, the Extreme Raiding Checklist!

I’ll talk about the Death Knight class in this WoW Death Knight Guide. Death Knights combine both magic and melee into one hybrid class that was introduced in the Wrath of the Lich King.
Death Knight Overview:
Death Knights can do magic but are especially talented at melee, able to deliver destruction to their enemies. This with their anti magic abilites make them really good tanks in a group. We’ll go into some of the strengths and weaknesses in this WoW Death Knight Guide.
You’ll need to have leveled your character to at least 55 before you can unlock the Death Knight. However, it doesn’t matter whether you Alliance or Horde or what race you are, since Death Knight can be any faction or race. Here’re some good races for Alliance and Horde.
Read more about Death Knight strategies in the World of Warcraft Death Knight Guide
Alliance Faction:
- Night Elves- Great for PvP
- Gnomes
- Dwarves- Stone forms are really good for Tanks
Horde Faction:
- Tauren’s War Stomp- Great for both PvP and PvE
- Forsaken’s will of the Forsaken- Their also really good at PvP and PvE
But as I mentioned you can choose any race.
Death Knight Guide the Upside and Downside
Upside:
- Heavy Plate Armor- This makes them great for combat and melee.
- Uncommon & Rare Gear- You get these right from the start.
- Uses Runic Power and Runes- You’ll get some unique playing benefits compare to other power sources.
- Wield 2 Handed Weapons- Again this makes them great as Tanks.
- Anti Magic- Makes them formidable adversaries to magic users.
- Blood Magic for healing.
Downside:
- As mentioned you’ll need a level 55 character before you can unlock this class.
- The only downside when it comes to tanking is that they can’t tank with a shield.
- Because of their abilities they can take some time to master
Runic Power:
Death Knights don’t use energy, mana or rage but instead use Runes and Runic Power. You start with 6 runes; once they get used up they’ll regenerate every 10 seconds
There are 3 Runes you can use. They are Blood Runes, Unholy Runes, and Frost Runes.
Here’s how some of the Runes are used for some abilities.
- Death Strike: Uses 1 Unholy & 1 Frost Rune; this is an instant cast and doesn’t require a cool down.
- Icy Touch: Uses 1 Frost Rune
- Blood Boil: Uses 1 Blood Rune
You can use these abilities in combination with one another. It’s this fact that can make them a challenge to play well. Be carefull not to use up your runes or you won’t have any for 10 seconds. 10 seconds can be a life time in situations like in the middle of combat.
