World of Warcraft Gold Guide

In the following WoW Gold guide I’ll show you 3 methods for making gold in Warcraft.

Grinding, flipping in the Auction House, and certain porfessions are fantastic for making gold.

Grinding:

First let’s look at Grinding, an easy yet often tedious way of making gold. Grinding for gold gets better as you level up, especially after leveling up to level 50. It’s actually possible to make 50g/hr just from grinding.

Once you’ve leveled to 50 check out Winterfall Village in Winterspring for some good grinding spots.

This place is absolutely teaming with furbolgs which are really easy to grind and make great gold from.

Everlook Forest is where you’ll find the Yetis. The fact that their easy to take out makes them great for grinding.

There’re some good grinding spot in the Eastern Plaguelands so once you reach level 80 go check it out. There’re lots of mobs to take on and you’ll make easy gold as well.

WoW Gold Guide intro to Flipping for Profit:

Flipping, or selling things in the Auction House, is another great way to make gold if you know how. This can involve either selling stuff you’ve gotten throught grinding for instance or thing you’ve bought at the Auction House and then turn around and sell for more.

Combining flipping and grinding can make you more gold than either one by itself. Grind mobs that have the higher drop rates and then go over to the Auciton House to flip the stuff you’ve got.

You want to first observe what’s actually selling and for how much it’s selling for. Try getting these items and you’ll do much better with flipping.

Timing can be crucial to your success in the Auction House. It only makes sense to have as many bids as possible on you item so wait for times when the Auction House is busiest. Next, you don’t want to flood the market. This mean don’t put lots of the same item on the market all at once or you’ll get less gold for each one you sell.

To get a walk through of this just check out one of the WoW gold guides on the market.

Professions:

Among the professions that are really good for making gold are Mining, Skinning and Blacksmithing.

Profession will take longer simply because you have to actual level to make more gold. Making gold is really easy after you’ve leveled up. Flipping can also be used with this method.

The question on every player’s lips in World of Warcraft is ‘How can I make more Money??!’. The moment you run out of cash you are abruptly held up and stopped in your tracks - you can’t repair your equipment, you can’t purchase potions, you can’t buy that new mount you wanted. The quests, fun and adventure have to be put aside for the moment while you try to work out some money.

If you can manage to keep a steady flow of cash coming in at all times then you can rule the game and level super-fast while never pausing. This quick intro to money in WoW will set you on the right track. Afterwards you might want to read more here: WoW Gold Guide

You can use some clever thinking, a bit of planning and a few strategies to make sure you never have to worry about gold. You can find out some extremely developed and advanced gold-making tactics too.

But you must get the basics right - first and foremost pick your professions wisely. Go for the money-makers rather than the ones that sound fun or useful. Believe me, if you have a good supply of gold coming in you will find the game a lot more enjoyable, and it’ll be hell of a lot more useful than anything else.

Unless you have your heart set on a particular profession, go for mining and skinning, they will earn you easy gold all the way through the game. You are never far from a mine to mine for valuable ores, or a creature to skin for its valuable skin. 2 other good professions are blacksmithing and Alchemy - they both make you gold too, but they save you even more. Blacksmithing saves money on repairs for a fighter, and Alchemy saves on man potions for a magic-user. Take your time making this choice.

Professions are the most simplistic of money-making methods in WoW, the most advanced are as ingenious as entreprepeurialism in the real world. Many people develop an understanding of how the market systems work in WoW. These guys can buy and sell anything at the auction house, making big profit margins in the process.

To learn this to an expert degree you need a lot of time or guidance from a guide like Gold Secrets (you can read a review of Gold Secrets right here: Click Here). Here is an overview of how this works:

Essentially you want to buy low and sell high. You must know what things are selling for by checking prices all the time. Whenever you see a bargain - snatch it up, or someone else will. The ideal it to find motivated sellers - people who want or need to sell their item fast and don’t want to wait for a bidding process.

When you have found one and a bargain, offer them a low price by prvate message. You will make a good profit because you are not in a hurry to sell, you can wait and take bids until you are happy. And always try to sell on a Friday. A recurring pattern is that items go for higher prices on Friday, perhaps because it’s at the beginning of the weekend and people are happy to pay a bit more.

Mining for Gold in WoW

Gold farming in World of Warcraft, if it is done at Level 12 or Level 62 is a process that nearly always wishes a little bit of direction.  That’s the reason why there are so many World of Warcraft gold guides out there.  If you aimlessly wander across the world trying to find a good mining node or grouping of mobs, you waste time and energy that would be spent farming.  This is particularly true with mining, even more so when you reach the higher levels of mining where nodes are few and far between at best.

What to Mine

Mining in the game starts with Copper that most simple of metals.  In your case, you may find that copper is essentially decently profitable.  At about 2-3 gold per stack for raw ore and upwards of 4 gold per stack for Copper Bars, you can resell your leveling stock for between fifteen and 20 gold before you reach level ten an investment of about 2-3 hours.

But, it is the higher level ores you’re going to need to strive for and even though you’ll find some that are worth your time and cash as you progress, there are lots of them that you’re going to find early on, as outlined in your World of Warcraft gold guide of choice, that might make you the real coin.  The goal should be to maximise your mining ability as early as possible.  If you have some additional gold, you can even smelt your way up to about talent level 150 or so on about twenty-five gold in investment.

If you are new to the game, this is probably not a choice, so you will just need to find your nodes.

Where to Mine

Most World of Warcraft gold guides with a section on professions will give you quite a bit of information on the best way to strike it rich with mining.  If you are lucky, your World of Warcraft gold guide will have a series of maps that show you where to go in a particular area for nodes.  Another good resource is cartographer that may save your nodes to a map as you find them, making it possible to always know where to look when you go back.  Because node spawns are timed and randomized to a few preset locations, knowing a good road to follow as you wait for them to respawn is vital.  As for where to look for ore, the lower levels are typically best spent in Stranglethorn Vale, followed by Burning Steppes and Un’Goro Crater and in Outland in Nagrand and later Netherstorm.

Striking it Rich

Finally, making it enormously with your mining talent is a matter of having a World of Warcraft gold guide that shows you where to go and when, and having a basic experience of the game’s mining economy.  You can make as much as a hundred gold from mining before you reach level 30 if you play it properly and when you reach Level seventy, the profession can net you up to 200 gold an hour in some places not too shabby at all .

To probably already know, if you are reading this, that in World of Warcraft why it is so important to have gold and lots of it. There is no fun in this game without it because you use it to buy everything! It can be a challenge to acquire gold, but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually quite easy. Although not all the gold secrets revealed here, these are some simple helps you can use right away.

To ensure you are absolutely overflowing with gold in World of Warcraft and are the envy of every player on your server, follow these simple but important things you can do!

WoW Gold Tips:

Tip 1) Even when you enter World of Warcraft as a level 1, get bags. All that you can carry. If you have a high level character already, buy the biggest bags you can and send them to your new character. Most people fail to use this simple and easy to understand step! If you have all 4 bag slots filled up right away, you can A) Continue questing without having to return to sell off items so you will level faster B) More importantly, be able to make much more gold as you will not have to delete items to make room for others. You can sell all your loot when you return for maximum profit even from the very beginning!

Tip 2) You need to avoid crafting professions like leatherworking, jewelcrafting, tailoring and blacksmithing like the plague even though they are tempting to pick up! If you want to drown in your own gold, pick up two gathering professions! For example, get herbalism and skinning or skinning and mining or mining and herbalism. Then, SELL THE LOOT YOU GET! The Auction House is always alive with activity and buyers trying to get their hands on leather, ore and herbs. People are LAZY, or they simply don’t have the profession required by their trade skill! So, you’re the hero they needed to deliver the goods to them, and you pull a hefty profit at the same time!

*The above alone is one of the greatest World of Warcraft gold secrets revealed to massive gold earning! Seriously… try it.

Tip 3) This is often overlooked as well but it ties closely with previous tip. This tip can alone can also earn you substantial gold income in World of Warcraft. Now, enchanting is often seen as a crafting skill. As stated above, you want to avoid these, right? Well, not when it comes to enchanting! You just won’t use enchanting to Enchant! “Huh?” It’s simple… think about it. As you know, when you get a rare drop in the world, you can disenchant it and get the dust or diamond used in enchanting out of it. Instead of using these to enchant your own items or others items, SELL THEM ON THE AUCTION HOUSE! That’s right! People are always wanting enchants, however most people do not enchant… and most enchanters don’t have the materials required to make the enchant that people want! So what do they have to do? Check the Auction House! This is, again, where you are the hero and in exchange for your “heroics” you get a large profit margin! Cha-Ching! Gold ahead! So save your rare drops and sell the disenchanted remains instead!

It is not as difficult as it seems to earn gold in World of Warcraft. With the tips above, you are more than well on your way to being the envy of your entire server!

WoW Gold Farming Guide

There’s no need to waste your money buying gold when there’re so many ways to make it. Using a World of Warcraft gold guide can make this a lot smoother as gathering gold can also mean you level a little slower.

Gold is an essential part of the World of Warcraft because so many things such as training and mounts require you buy them. Some will advise you to use gathering professions right from the beginning to make gold. Of course you could also do some grinding, flipping in the Auction House, or use certain Professions. While you could follow this advice and do good, the 3 step approach below works especially well.

Step 1: 1 Level 80 Character

Initially, focus on getting at least one level 80 character. You don’t really need gold to level a character to 80, and the gear you’ll need will constantly change as you level. What I do suggest is having a good leveling guide to make this as fast as possible. Read more about gathering gold and find my recommended gold and leveling guide here WoW Gold Farming Guide.

The gold you’ll need for buying your mount for instance can all be obtained just through the questing you’ll be doing anyway. If follow the right approach you could earn up to 8000g at the end of all this.

Step 2: Farming for Gold

In this step a gathering profession will be good to have such as Mining or Herbalism.

At this point it’s critical to know the right farming zones. The reason being that farming zones can be class and profession specific.

Step 3: Auction House

At this point you should’ve gathered about 200g. With the right approach, you could earn around 500g/hr in the Auction House. Check out my WoW Gold Guide to see my recommended guide to accomplishing this. It’ll also map out the best farming locations.
