Do you want to unlock your Nintendo Wii?- Without doubt, the best way to achieve this is by installing a Wii soft chip. It outperforms the standard modchip on a number of levels but doesnt suffer from the same drawbacks of having a modchip installed.
The Wii soft chip is a piece of code that you install onto your Wii, you can play/run copied games without any restriction as the Wii’s copy protection is fully disabled. As well as playing copied games, you can also do all of this with the Wii soft chip-
Wii Soft Chip Benefits
Backed Up Games
- Play copied Wii and Gamecube games without restriction? Want a new game? Just download it using your preferred file sharing client!
Duplicate Games
- You can make copies of any Wii game you own, have borrowed or rented from your local video store

The iPlayer has been operational in the past utilising the Opera driven web browser channel, but has been of moderate quality and, well, not nice simple to use. Now we have a very special channel only for iPlayer. And it’s been a long time coming – the BBC have been talking about it for a year and a half.
Nonetheless, I can only assume they’ve exhausted this time on maturation and testing because the end result is superior.
The download is rapid and quite compressed. It is sleek in use (but there is a time lag every time you commence it) and very sophisticated. Most importantly, shows are easy to see and, hottest of all, show in full screen without any obvious issues. Considering the Wii merely has 512MB of ram and no hard drive storage, I considered that buffering would lose out and there would be holds up during playback. During the time I had to test it this morning, I did not discover any such troubles.
I bound towards previous Saturdays Doctor Who episode – it feels delicious. A itsy-bitsy granular, but no evident over compression during fast-paced moving episodes Hey, it is not high definition quality, but then the Nintendo Wii isn’t an High definition games system!
Generally, I’m darn impressed. I can see the Wii being utilized even more right away – my wife and I missed a BBC programme at the weekend, and will be watching it on the Nintendo Wii iPlayer this evening. Even if you were to mod wii without chip, you would not find a home brew app that equates to this.

If you’re anything like me then you probably do not have much interest in video games. I actually kind of hate video games to be honest. In my view they are a waste of time. So why am I spending my time writing about this video game? Because in my opinion Beatles Rock Band Game (and to a lesser extent the other Rock Band games) is more than just a video game, it’s a truly interactive musical learning tool.
I am not talking about the guitar and bass guitar bit. I actually think the guitar part of the game is lame because it has nothing to do with playing real guitar and very little to do with the songs you’re playing. It has zilch to do with guitar playing because playing a real 6 string is about 1000 times harder than simply pressing a few buttons and it has very little to do with the songs because I have found that the changes in the game rarely change in time with any chord changes in the song.
So what am I talking about? The singing and the drumming. These aspects are directly related to doing these things “in real life.”
If you sing the song in key and in time then you will get a good score. No you don’t have to sing the lyrics (you can just hum) but I don’t think that’s a big deal. What matters is hitting the right notes at the right time. I think Beatles Rock Band Video Game is actually a really great way to to work on your ability to sing. More so than the other rock band games because it also includes harmonies.
When you play the drums on expert level you you have to hit every drum hit that’s in the real recording! No, it’s not exactly like playing real drums, but it is close enough to be pretty effective for practicing. There have even been cases of people moving directly from Rock Band drums into playing a real drum set with barely a hitch in the transition.
The Beatles Rock Band is recommended a great buy for any big Beatles fan along with (obviously) The Beatles in Mono and The Beatles in Stereo box sets.

For new readers, here’s a quick run down of just what the R4 DS is. If you’d like more information on the R4 DS cards, you may want to read my other articles on the R4 DS. In my previous articles I went into the details of exactly what the R4 DS is, what it can do, and how it works. If you’re looking for a complete feature and function run down for the R4 DS, I won’t be writing it all here, but you can visit www.{ps2cover.{com for a detailed feature and function list}~com for a detailed feature and functions list~{{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}~{com for detailed lists of features and functions}~com for an indepth list of features~com for a list of all functions~{com for a detailed run down of all features and functions}~com for an in depth list of all of the functions and features~com for a full, detailed list of all features and functions~{com for a good look at all of the functions and features}~{{com for a full list of all of the functions and features}~{com for a features and functions list}~{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a full list of all of the functions and features~{com for a full list of all of the functions and features}~{com for a features and functions list}~{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}. If you’re not clear on all of the features and functions of the R4 DS, then I suggest you do a searc on google or go to www.ps2cover.com.
The R4 DS allows you to turn your NDS into not only a game system, but also a full MP3 and Movie player as well as an eBook reader… on your NDS or DSi console. For less than dollars, your Nintendo DS turns into a whole entertainment unit.00
There are some quick and easy tips to follow. Some of the things I recommend may seem like no brainers, it did actually take me a week or so of using the R4 DS Card daily to figure out how to make my life a whole lot easier.
1. Store your game files in a directory on your microSD Card. Create a GAME folder and put all of your GAMES into this folder. You’ll have a much easier time when you are looking for games. It makes browsing to them in the menu much easier, and all your game save files will also be organized.
2. Store your MP3 Music files and video files in seperate folders too, and in the case of multiple music albums on the memory card, you should make a sub-directory of each album. This is something that is a must for anyone that has a lot of music where all of the songs are labeled TRACK 1, Track 2, etc..mp3, TRACK 2.mp3, etc… You’ll avoid conficts with file names by putting them all in on directory, and because you can name your sub-directory the name of the CD your ripped, you’ll at least know that TRACK-1.mp3 in the ABBA directory is from the ABBA greatest hits album.
3. Make sure you try and make a copy of all of your game saves on your hard drive at least 1-2 times a week. Saving your games isn’t something to do because you worry about losing your game saves due to a bad microSD card. It is a guarantee agaist that, but it also means you can always go back to an earlier game save. It’s also good to get into this habit because you may erase a game (and its save game file) and not have a backup in case you want to play that game once again sometime in the future. While this one really seems like an obvious hint, you would be surprised to know that most of our technical support emails for the R4 DS deal with how to get back erased or deleted game saves that were not backed up. I suggest you do this at least one or two times at most and even more often if you play your games more.
4. Try not to take out the R4 DS from the NDS each time you want to add files to the microSD Card. Just push the microSD card and it will pop of out the slot in the r4 ds card. Use the included microSD card reader / writer to change your games, music and movie files or add more to your collection on your microSD card.
5. This is my final suggestion. And it deals with the microSD card in the card slot of the R4 DS. When you put the NDS, Nintendo DS lite or Nintendo DSi in your pocket or pick it up. Check to make sure that the microSD card is in the R4 DS card. Make sure that your MicroSD card in the R4 DS Card is snug an secure to avoid any issues with it popping out or getting lost. The chances of it popping out without you pushing down on the card are slim, but it could happen while you’re carrying it in your pocket. There would be nothing worse than losing your microSD card somewhere, because it popped out and fell on the ground. MicroSD Cards are small and tiny, and once lost, you would have a hard time finding it anywhere else except at a store, where you’d be buying a new one. If your NDS is in a case you can protect yourself from losing your R4 DS Card. You should do this before you even turn the power on.
The r4 DS allows you to power up your NDS by allowing you to run homebrew game and applications as well as watch movies, read ebooks, and more. It also allows you to play MP3 music as well as watch movies on your Nintendo DS. What the R4 DS does is take your Nintendo DS from just being a game system to becoming a full entertainment center by allowing you to watch movies read ebooks, listen to mp3’s and much more.
