As you’re probably aware, Rogues are the most feared of all PvP classes. Why? Because they excel at taking down opponents, often without their foe even getting a chance to fight back. But not even Rogues are invulnerable. Understanding your strengths and weaknesses will make you a much more fearsome PvP foe. Let’s look at your Rogue’s strengths first.
Rogue PvP Strengths
I’ll say it right out. Few classes are as effective, or as feared in PvP. Because you are so well-rounded, it’s hard to pick out your greatest strength. Once you become proficient with them, Stunblocks are deadly weapons. A well-executed stunlock can leave your opponent immobilized or staggering around in a daze, and make them easy pickings for you and your teammates. Get this right, come up with a good Rogue PvP build, and you’ll be very hard to beat.
Your ability to poison your foes is probably your next greatest strength. Even when your enemies run away, you’ve got options. Use your Crippling Poison to slow them down, and your Mind Numbing Poison to mess up their spell casting. When you put these together with all your Rogue’s other strengths and abilities and it is easy to see why everyone hates you.
Rogue PvP Weaknesses
One big weakness of being a Rogue in large battles is that other players don’t like you very much. Any player who has seen their character stunlocked into immobility while being pounded to death, or poisoned into stumbling incompetence has a score to settle with Rogues. This can make you a target, as most players will happily help when it comes to taking out an enemy Rogue.
Beyond the fact that everyone hates you, your character’s biggest weakness is the complexity of executing a stunlock. Mess this up, perhaps because a Hunter’s pet is chewing on you, or a Shaman gets an Earthshield up, and you’ll be vulnerable to attack. Beyond that, remember that you have only melee attacks, so if a ranged fighter manages to keep you at a distance, they can tear you up with impunity.
These are just the basics of Rogue strategy, strengths, and weaknesses in PvP. Most decent players can do well in PvP with just basic Rogue strategy. But to really dominate you need more than that. An excellent Rogue PvP build will be crucial, as will great Rogue strategy ideas for PvP. A Roge PvP guide can help you with things like talent builds, Rogue PvP gear selection, specifics of killing each opposing class, and more.
Learning the strengths and weaknesses of your Rogue is one great way to improve your performance in PvP combat. To learn more about this and other PvP techniques in a guide that has helped others generate a 2214 Arena Rating in weeks, just Click Here.

Website Reviewed: The Ultimate WoW Guide Website
So is Dugi’s Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide worth the price?
To be perfectly honest I don’t regret buying this guide and think its worth every penny. As you read through my Ultimate WoW guide review you’ll see that not only do you get exactly what you’d want from a WoW leveling guide but a ton of extras that put it over the top when being compared to other similar products.
Of all the WoW guides I’ve taken a look at, this is by far one of the most comprehensive. For instance, many of the bonuses alone are more than you’ll get with some of the other guides you can get. The bonuses you get and the options you have when ordering make this one of the most versatile guides on the market. Read more on this guide in The Ultimate WoW Guide Review
With this product and its bonuses you’ll get a walkthrough on leveling 1-80 for both Alliance and Horde, leveling your professions, earning millions in gold, and dominating in PvP. And they just added an update for the Call of the Crusade patch 3.2.
If you use this guide you find that not only will it walk you through the beginner level but it’ll also give you step by step walkthroughs of the more advance stuff as well.
I think it works out a lot cheaper to buy one really comprehensive guide that gets updated than to buy lots of guides that never get updated.
Below you’ll find a list of some of the included guides.
- Classic Level 1-60 Alliance
- Classic Level 1-60 Horde
- The Burning Crusade Level 60-70 Alliance
- The Burning Crusade Level 60-70 Horde

This is a truly comprehensive and fantastic in-game guide and has an active support forum as well. The Warlock class is great to play. They are dark casters that use fire and shadow spells to devastate their opponents. They basically have powers from ‘the dark side’ which also brings them in touch with demonology. Because of this they are able to summon demons like imps, succubus, fel hounds, void walkers and infernals. With this ability, Warlocks, similar to hunters, are able to have a pet at their side most of the times.
Moving through the game will be a lot easier if you have a pet around you since he will take most of the damage that comes your way. When it comes to their offensive abilities, Warlocks are damage dealers and their main spells, like shadow bolts, can cause a lot of damage. Another ability that contributed to the overall popularity of Locks is “fear”, which is can make their opponents run around for a few seconds without the ability to do anything about it. The Warlock is also well-known for their DoTs aka Damage Over Time spells that can do a great amount of damage during a certain period of time. Click here to watch the video: WoW Warlock Leveling Guide
Because of these spells, a good Warlock is feared in PvP, and can top damage meters in PvE. The basic assignment of a Warlock in PvP is to fear his targets while at the same time he applies dots, while in PvE he is most likely to use his Shadow Bolt.
On top of a variety of damaging spells the Warlock has several other nice spells in his arsenal. One of these is the Dark Portal they can summon. This portal is frequently used in raids, and with this ability a Lock can summon players from afar to his current location. However, to complete the summoning, a Lock will need a couple of players to help him. This Dark Portal can be used similar like you would use the meeting stone in front of an instance.
A Warlock can also apply a Soul Stone on himself or others. If he or any other player has a Soul Stone applied he will be able to resurrect if he dies, right on the spot. This spell comes very useful because it saves time of corps running and it has a cooldown of 30 minutes. While leveling it is great because the Warlock can keep it on himself all the time and if he is in a party the Soul Stone can be cast on a player that can resurrect others. A Warlock can also create Health Stones which function as healing potions and are actually more powerful because they restore more hit points. On lower levels, a Lock is able to give these Health Stones separately to other players while on a higher level he can even create a special well – the Soul Well where his whole raid group can obtain a HS just by clicking on it. In a fight that is longer, Health Stones come in as really handy since they don’t share the same cooldown as the health potions.
As you can see, the Warlock class is great to play. You will be able to summon several different types of demon pets that all have their own unique abilities and fight by your side, you will have devastating spells and spells to fear your enemies, you will have several nice spells that can improve the Warlock’s party or raid’s performance and a lot more. If you would like your char to be a caster with many different abilities, a Warlock is the right choice for you!

The Priest’s unique collection of abilities can make them really fun to play and great to have your group. In the WoW Priest guide we’ll take a look at some of their main strengths, weaknesses, and talents.
Their main strength lies in their talent at protecting themselves and friends with healing spells. In addition they can both resurrect their fallen allies and destroy their enemies.
To start this WoW Priest guide we’ll take a look at some of their main abilities.
- Healing Abilities: They’re excellent at healing both single targets as well as groups.
- Resurrection: As I mentioned earlier they can ressurect their fallen friends.
- Holy Magic: This provides Buffs, can Dispel and Cure, and inflict Damage
- Shadow Magic: This can cause various Damage including, direct, and over time, mana drains, aggro control, and Mind Control
- Crowd Control: They have some crowd control ability although it’s pretty limited.
Let’s now take a look at a few of their weaknesses.
- Armor: As far as armor is concerned cloth is about it.
- Weapons: They generally are limited to single handed maces and wands but can learn to use daggers and staves.
- Poor at melee: Both of the above weaknesses combined make priest bad at melee and they have low hit points.
Priests can be difficult for some players to master especially when dealing with group play. That’s because it requires plenty of concentration and some good reflexes. Learn more about the Priest in the World of Warcraft Priest Guide
Now we’ll finish up the WoW Priest Guide with a look at their 3 main talent trees, which are Discipline, Holy and Shadow.
- Discipline: If you choose the Discipline talent tree you’ll be well equipped for both raids as well as PvP, since you’ll be able to keep yourself alive. Damage control, healing and protection will be your main objective with this build. In groups it’s actually the main role of this Priest to keep the Tank from being killed. To do this Priest’s use a spell called “Penance” which happens to be one of the best healing spells in all of WoW.
- Holy: If you enjoy healing more than anything else then this is probably a good talent build for you. Priest’s healing powers are really versatile and makes them a great addition to groups. Spiritual guidance, Circle of Healing, and Guardian Spirit are some of their special talent here.
- Shadow: Now on the other hand if you want to inflict damage in combat then choose the Shadow Priest. Mind Flay is one of the spells you’ll use in combat. It not only inflicts damage but slows your enemies down by 50%. Two spells you’ll need for PvP are called “Silence” and “Psychic Scream”.
Choosing the right gear and talent build will make leveling a lot easier. But the most important thing is to have fun so pick a talent build that fits your particular playing style.

Warcraft Formula – Just Another WoW Guide?
I came across a new product just a couple days ago at WarcraftFormula.com that is actually a bit different from all the other WoW guides out there right now. It is not a specific guide for just leveling, PvP or Gold etc so it covers pretty much everything. Therefore, it should be a useful resource for anyone needing a complete guide. Click here for more information Warcraft Formula Guide Review
You may have heard of the authors of Warcraft formula – T Dub and Brad Johnson. Brad put together Warcraft Millionaire and a profession guide under the same title. T Dub did the PvP Bible – probably the best PvP guide on the market right now. With this experience they decided to team up and create a professional WoW guide that covered all the angles. It actually seems to have worked as the Warcraft Formula product is pretty decent from both angles. It’s only credible competitor being the ‘Ultimate guide’.
The idea is that you begin by paying . That initial payment gets you quite a few goodies. To begin with is the guide, which admittedly at face value, is not that different to the ‘other’ best seller, is constantly updated .Then there’s the Action Plan which shows players how to set up an account for UI mods, gear, end game setups, main, alts and guild sign ups. For laid back WoW players it is a excellent source of information. Along with this though you get a monthly eBook that Brad and T Dub put out that contains about 30 pages of content on everything that happened in the last month in the game. Click here to find out more: Warcraft Formula
Recently for example, the guide talked about the upcoming patch, gold making strategies at 2 months, maintaining a quality account and Death Knight nerfs and buffs. also there is also a monthly column just for PvP. You get the current guide and all existing guides when you signup. This kind of quality is not often seen in WoW guides or by WoW writers of such experience. The system of monthly installments saves you the pain of a huge ‘once off’ payment. And then there are the bonuses and support , not to mention the unconditional 60 day money back guarentee.
Warcraft Formula is a highly effective product which grabs the lead in a crowded WoW marketplace for it quality and it’s price. It isn’t very often I strongly commend a WoW product guide, but in this instance I’ll make an exception – Don’t miss it!
