Get Everything You Need To Know To Be a Better WoW Hunter

In WOW, as well as many other games, the term hunter refers to a class that uses long range weapons. Hunters are usually better at using arrows or bullets than they are at up close fighting. WoW provides the hunter class with various means to stay away from their foes such as traps and pet system.
Selecting Race
If you have made the choice to play as a hunter you have to be very careful on the first few steps since that will have a big impact on your life as a hunter. First, you want to pick the best race for your hunter; the selections are: Night Elves, Dwarf, Draenei, Tauren, Troll, Orc, and Blood Elves. Here is a list of their skills that will boost a Hunter’s performance
1. Night Elves: Shadowmeld to give them the ability to hide and quickness for extra dodge.
2. Dwarf: Gun Specialization to increase your critical hit rate and Stoneform to counter various types of debuffs such as poison, disease, and bleeding.
3. Draenei: Can heal yourself or your pet; it also has Heroic Presence which improves hit by 1% for all member of the party.
4. Tauren: War Stomp can help them escape to a distance. Endurance will increase base health by 5% and it stack with Endurance Training.
5. Troll: Bow Specialization add your critical hit rate using bow; couple this with berserking and you will get quite good DPS. HP regeneration along with beast slaying are other nice features of a Troll. See how being a Troll allow you to make even more powerful hunter at WoW Troll Guide.
6. Orc: Command can increase pet damage 5% while Blood Fury boosts the power of their attack.
7. Blood Elves: Arcane Torrent silences your enemy and refills your mana.
Each race has their own unique abilities that will support their life as a hunter; my suggestion: you should narrow your choices to Night Elves and Dwarf in the Alliance faction and pick Orc, Troll or Tauren for Horde faction. These recommendations will become clear when you move on to the next step: selecting talents.
Talents Build
Hunters have three talent trees they can focus on: Beast Mastery, Marksmanship, and Survival. You may find different recommendation in different WoW Hunter Guide, so in the end it is up to you to pick the most suitable playing style for your hunter.
Beast Mastery
Orc is the most recommended for this path since they have Command traits which add 5% to their pet’s damage. Orc’s are resistant to stun and by using Blood Fury they can boost their damage. Add a high DPS pet so you can deal more damage in PvP mode and a good tanking pet such as a boar to helps with leveling.
Marksmanship
Dwarf and Troll are best for this path because both have weapon specialization so they can cause more damage. By adding a tank pet you can keep your hunter at a safe distance. If you choose Night Elves, shadowmeld is useful, but only in PvP.
Survival
This type of hunter usually plays as a support in a group; they pull enemies to their group using their long range, and then buff their groups with aspects or aura; usually this hunter type doesn’t have that much DPS since they invest most of their points in Survival tree. Tauren is good choice for this role since it also has war stomp and increased health.
Well, you might find the leveling process rather discouraging when you already have a killer talent build but your progress per day is not that great. Find out some of my methods to speed it up at wow quick leveling.
